Dental and Mental Health Camp Held at Koshi Province Police Training Center

Nepal Health News, Inaruwa — A one-day free dental and mental health camp, along with an awareness program, was successfully conducted at the Koshi Province Police Training Center. The event was organized by Sana Paila Morang and Rotary Club of Biratnagar Central, in collaboration with Koshi Province Police Hospital, Inaruwa.

The health camp featured the participation of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dr. Saroj Singh, Chief Technical Officer of Koshi Province Police Hospital; Dr. Meera Acharya, President of Sana Paila Morang and dental specialist; Dr. Nimisha Das, Vice President of the Nepal Dental Association, Morang; and psychiatrist Dr. Sabita Khadka.

Around 270 police personnel, including Acting Commandant DSP Guru Prasad Timilsina of the training center, Police Inspector Prabhat Laxman Limbu, instructors, and trainees undergoing basic training, received dental checkups and mental health services. Additionally, free toothpaste and toothbrushes were distributed to all participants.

On the occasion, Dr. Meera Acharya, President of the organizing institution, handed over an awareness banner to Acting Commandant Timilsina. The banner aims to promote awareness about cancer and the Government of Nepal’s health insurance program.morang-dental-1746196764.jpg
