Former Prime Minister Madhav Nepal's successful angioplasty, improvement observed in his health

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu. The health condition of the chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is reportedly improving, according to doctors. After undergoing heart angioplasty at the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center, his health has shown gradual improvement.

According to the hospital's director, Dr. Ratnamani Gajurel, after the successful surgery, Leader Nepal was kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 24 hours, and preparations are now being made to move him to a regular ward. Dr. Gajurel further stated that Nepal will remain under medical supervision for the next 72 hours.

He also mentioned that Nepal’s heart arteries had been narrowed for some time, which is why, after regular tests, angioplasty was planned and performed.

Angioplasty is a procedure used to remove fat or other substances accumulated in the heart's blood vessels, thereby improving blood circulation.
