Vaccination services resumed today for children under five who missed their vaccines; parents urged to visit health facilities

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu – As part of the regular immunization campaign, vaccination services are being provided today across the country for children under the age of five who missed their scheduled vaccines.

The Department of Health Services has appealed to parents to take their children who missed vaccinations to the nearest health facility and ensure they receive the necessary immunizations. Currently, a vaccination card is mandatory for school enrollment, which has further emphasized the importance of immunization.

In this context, the Public Health Office in Chitwan has also informed that the vaccination program is being carried out in coordination with all local levels in the district. According to office representative Ram KC, vaccines will be available today at all government health institutions across the seven municipalities of the district.

KC stated that the missed vaccines will be administered according to the national immunization schedule and urged all parents to make use of this service.
