Prime Minister Oli unwell, parliamentary question-answer session postponed

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu – The parliamentary question-and-answer session scheduled for today has been postponed due to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's health issues.

According to Mahesh Bartola, the Chief Whip of the CPN-UML, Prime Minister Oli has been unwell since Monday, making it unlikely that he would be able to attend today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

At an event held in the capital on Monday, the Prime Minister mentioned that he was feeling unwell and therefore shortened his address. It has been reported that he is showing symptoms of a cold and cough.

In today's session of the House of Representatives, the Prime Minister was scheduled to respond to questions raised by lawmakers under Chapter 9 of the House of Representatives Regulations, 2079 (2022). However, UML sources stated that the agenda could not proceed due to the Prime Minister's poor health condition.
