Pregnant woman rescued by the police, gave birth in the courtyard

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu. A woman, suffering from labor pains, was rescued by the police. This incident took place in Chaitanyapur, Ward 1 of Godawari Municipality, Kailali.

Police constable Chandrika Deuba, along with the locals, rescued the woman. Upon reaching the scene and questioning, it was found that the woman was suffering from labor pains and was in an uncomfortable condition. After the locals alerted the police, Constable Deuba arrived at the scene.

Constable Deuba said, "The woman was displaying abnormal behavior, and the locals were also afraid to approach her." When I reached there, I realized that the woman was in labor pain.

When Constable Deuba arrived at the scene, the woman had given birth to a child in the courtyard of a person near the roadside. The woman was then sent to Padma Hospital in Attariya for further care.

According to reports, the woman appeared to be living in an abandoned state and seemed to be mentally distressed. However, further details about her are unclear.
