Comedian Maksam Gaudel's health improves, undergoing follow-up treatment in Delhi

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu: Popular young comedian Maksam Gaudel is gradually recovering. After experiencing issues with his pancreas in recent weeks, he is currently undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Delhi.

Gaudel was admitted to Civil Hospital in Baneshwor two months ago after experiencing severe abdominal pain. After 12 days of treatment there, he was taken to India for further specialized care.

According to Bishal Bhandari, director of Comedy Night with Champions, Gaudel has returned to Delhi for follow-up care. “His health is improving. He had previously stayed in the hospital for about 15–16 days. Now, he is going for regular tests and monitoring,” Bhandari said.

Gaudel, who rose to fame through the comedy show Comedy Champion, has also appeared in popular films like Chhakka Panja 5 and Feri Resham Filili.

After completing four episodes of Comedy Night with Champions, Gaudel fell ill. Fellow comedians, including Suman Karki, have shared messages on social media wishing him a speedy recovery. They hope to see Maksam return to the stage soon.
