Nepal Health News, Lalitpur – A special memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Mahalaxmi Municipality of Lalitpur and B & B Hospital Pvt. Ltd. with the objective of strengthening the delivery of health services.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Mayor Mr. Hari Govinda Shrestha on behalf of the municipality, and Managing Director Prof. Dr. Jagdish Lal Baidya and Chairman Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Banskota on behalf of the hospital.
Through this agreement, residents of Mahalaxmi Municipality will receive priority access to treatment at B & B Hospital. Additionally, they will benefit from discounted rates on medical services and be able to participate in joint public health programs. Speaking at the event, Mayor Shrestha emphasized that this partnership is vital to ensuring the health security of municipal residents. He stated that the agreement is a significant step toward making quality healthcare more accessible and inclusive.
B & B Hospital’s Managing Director Prof. Dr. Baidya stated that the hospital has been working with local governments as part of its social responsibility and is committed to continuing community-oriented service expansion in the future. Hospital Chairman Prof. Dr. Banskota added that, as per the agreement, the hospital’s team of doctors will provide technical support for the municipality’s public health campaigns.
