78 percent passed the Nepal Medical Council licensing examination

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu – The Nepal Medical Council has published the results of the recently held licensing (registration) examination, with an overall pass rate of 77.99 percent.

Although 2,090 candidates had registered for the examination conducted from Jestha 12 to 15 (May 25–28), only 2,077 appeared, while 13 candidates were absent.

The exam was conducted in two categories: medical and dental.

In the medical category, out of 1,611 registered candidates, 1,600 took the exam, of which 1,226 candidates (76.62 percent) passed.

In the dental category, out of 479 registered candidates, 477 appeared, and 394 candidates (82.60 percent) were successful.

The Nepal Medical Council conducts this licensing examination every year to grant professional registration to medical doctors and dental surgeons.
