PM Oli urges health workers to be 'aware and responsible'

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged health workers to be aware and responsible.

At the fifth general convention of the National Federation of Health Workers Nepal, he said that the importance of the medical sector is linked to the lifespan of people and that health workers should understand both civic and national responsibilities.

Oli shared his experience of doctors and nurses saving lives even in difficult situations, saying that doctors are greater than God. Emphasizing the need to pay attention to preventing illness, Oli expressed the view that quality treatment should be provided in an affordable and easy way. 

Stating that he is alive today due to the advancement of medical science, Oli expressed his hope that the Federation would play a role in health awareness focused on prevention.
