Nepal Health News, Kathmandu: Senior Nepali Congress leader and former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam’s health condition is gradually improving. He is currently undergoing treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital.
The hospital issued a statement informing that Alam's health is showing gradual improvement. He was admitted to the emergency unit on Jestha 16 (May 29) after showing symptoms of slurred speech and physical imbalance. After tests confirmed a stroke, immediate medical treatment was initiated.
He is currently being kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is under the care of neurology specialists. Although significant improvement has been observed in his health, the hospital administration has stated that continued medical observation will be necessary for a few more days
