Nepal Health News, Kathmandu: Nepal Mediciti Hospital has appointed Dr. Amit Tomar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The hospital has expressed confidence that his experience and managerial abilities will elevate the institution to new heights.
Dr. Tomar completed his postgraduate studies in hospital management from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. He has gained experience in the hospital and healthcare sector across both developed and developing countries. According to a statement issued by the hospital, his appointment is expected to contribute significantly to the expansion of quality services and the provision of advanced treatment for patients.
To ensure high-quality services, the hospital has also formed a medical board comprising senior specialists from various departments. The board includes Prof. Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, Head of General and Digestive Disease Unit I; Prof. Dr. Toran KC, Head of ENT–Head and Neck Surgery Department; Prof. Dr. Ram Kumar Ghimire, Head of Radiology and Imaging Department; and Prof. Dr. Shishir Lakhe, Head of Orthopedic Surgery Department.
