Nepal Health News, Kathmandu: The Koshi Province government has allocated a budget of NPR 3.51 billion for the health sector for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83, giving it high priority.
While presenting the budget in the Provincial Assembly, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Ram Rana, stated that the budget has been proposed with the aim of improving health infrastructure, expanding services, and enhancing public health.
Similarly, the minister announced the implementation of the "Study and Earn" program targeting youth and students in the province. Under this program, students will be provided with employment opportunities alongside their studies, with the expectation that it will promote their self-reliance
