Health Minister Pradeep Paudel unwell, admitted to Bir Hospital

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu: Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has been admitted to Bir Hospital after falling ill. According to hospital sources, the minister was taken to the hospital immediately on Saturday after showing symptoms of fever.

He is currently being treated in the VIP ward of the old building at Bir Hospital. Medical tests are ongoing, hospital sources said. Preliminary reports suggest that while his condition is not serious, he is being kept under close medical observation as a precaution.

Doctors have indicated that Minister Paudel’s health is improving, based on initial evaluations. However, they stated that detailed test reports are still pending, and only after receiving those will they be able to provide a definitive assessment.

Meanwhile, ministry sources have urged the public not to worry about Minister Paudel’s health condition. “His condition is stable, and he has been advised complete rest,” an official informed.
