Nepal Health News, Kathmandu: Senior neurosurgeon Dr. Basanta Pant has returned to Nepal after completing a two-day visit to Taiwan. During his visit, he delivered a scientific presentation on the technique of ‘Multiple Lesioning’, which is being used in the treatment of movement disorders and epilepsy.
According to Dr. Pant, the concept of ‘Multiple Lesioning’ is currently practiced by only a few centers around the world. “This concept is a unique and specialized practice of our team, which is being implemented by only a handful of renowned centers globally,” he explained. “It was on the basis of this uniqueness and experience that I was invited as a guest speaker, and it was truly an outstanding experience.”
During his visit, Dr. Pant also held meetings and group discussions with Professor Taira and a team of neurosurgeons and neurologists from Taiwan.
“I am especially grateful to my entire team for their support in making this visit a success,” said Dr. Pant. “Now, I will be returning to my regular duties from Monday.” Dr. Pant is the director of Annapurna Neuro Hospital
