Nepal Health News, Kathmandu: Citizens participating in the health insurance program have been urged to renew their insurance policies on time. The Health Insurance Board issued a notice on Monday, stating that it is necessary to renew health insurance policies within the stipulated deadline, as the Health Insurance Policy Renewal Procedure, 2082 has already come into effect.
In the notice signed by Public Health Officer Bikesh Mall of the Board, it is mentioned that this notice has been published due to the implementation of the new procedure. If the renewal is done within the specified time, there will also be a discount on co-payment. The Board has called on citizens who wish to avail of services to renew their insurance on time to receive the prescribed benefits.
