Nepal Health News, Myagdi: The Provincial Hospital Beni in Myagdi has extended the duration of dialysis services for kidney patients. Previously operating dialysis in two shifts daily, the hospital has now increased the service time by three hours and expanded it to three shifts.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rabi Ranjan Pradhan informed that dialysis services are now being provided from 7 AM to 10 PM.
“Earlier, when the dialysis service was operated from 10 AM to 10 PM, around 30 patients were receiving treatment,” he said. “With the additional shift, now 35 to 37 patients can undergo dialysis.”
Dr. Pradhan added that efforts are underway to provide dialysis services within the district to an additional five kidney patients who are currently on the waiting list, by managing more staff and equipment.
