Nepal leads in the Brahma Kumaris' blood donation campaign, collecting over 11,000 pints of blood in four days

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu – Nepal has achieved remarkable success in the global blood donation campaign organized in memory of the 18th Memorial Day of Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani, former chief administrator of the Brahma Kumaris organization, and in celebration of World Brotherhood Day.

With the theme "One World, One Family," the campaign aimed to collect 100,000 pints of blood worldwide within 100 hours.

Brahma Kumaris branches across various locations in Nepal, in collaboration with local organizations and social bodies, conducted blood donation programs over four days.

According to Ramesh Acharya, who was involved in the campaign, a total of 11,916 pints of blood were collected in Nepal during the campaign, which ran from August 22 to 25 (Bhadra 6 to 9). On August 24 (Bhadra 8), major blood donation events were held in cities such as Kathmandu, Janakpur, Narayangadh, Hetauda, Biratnagar, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Butwal, Dang, Baglung, and Palpa.

On the final day alone, 1,457 pints of blood were collected from across Nepal.

This campaign, which saw active participation from local volunteers, youth, and various organizations, has become an inspiring example of social responsibility and awareness toward humanitarian service in Nepal.raktadan-1756185037.jpg
