Even after five months, the transferred employee has not handed over the responsibilities

Nepal Health News, Janakpur: Two employees working at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj, Saptari, have still been working at their old positions even though it has been almost five months since they were transferred.

The employees, working in the store and administration departments, were reassigned to other locations by the concerned ministries several months ago.

The Ministry of Health and Population transferred Narayan Yadav on Chaitra 25, 2081 (April 7, 2025), while the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration transferred Nayab Subba Rambabu Yadav on Baisakh 24, 2082 (May 7, 2025).

However, according to hospital sources, both employees have yet to assume their responsibilities at the new workplaces. According to Dr. Prakash Prasad Sah, the Medical Superintendent of Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, both employees had gone outside the hospital, and the handover process will proceed once they return.

The Ministry of Health, stating that the transfer orders were not implemented on time, had issued a special directive on Jestha 28, 2082 (June 10, 2025), instructing the enforcement of the transfers and the completion of the handover process. However, according to internal sources, the employees have allegedly ignored their transfer orders by using political influence.
