Nepal Health News, Kathmandu: The Nepal Health Professional Council has published the voter list for the upcoming election for council member positions scheduled on Kartik 22, 2082 B.S. The voter list has been posted on the council's notice board, according to a public notice issued by the council.
As per Section 4(1)(c) of the Health Professional Council Act, 2053 B.S., and Sub-sections (c), (ch), (j), and (jh) of Rule 2 and Rule 29 of the Council Regulation, 2056 B.S., elections will be held for four member positions, with one representative elected from each of the following subject groups: Public Health, Medicine, Diagnostics and Rehabilitation, and Miscellaneous.
In line with a directive from the High Court Patan and a council decision made on Baisakh 6, 2082 B.S., the public notice was issued on Baisakh 14.
Through this notice, the council has requested individuals whose names may have been omitted from the voter list to contact the council’s election office by Bhadra 31, 2082 B.S., with a valid and updated registration certificate.
The council has also clarified that health professionals whose registration certificates are not updated will be ineligible to participate in the election process.
